A Gift From God
Dieu Donné is situated high on the steep south-west facing slopes of the Franschhoek Mountains, encouraging a cool climate and combined with the rocky soils of weathered granite, a unique terroir has been created. In our cellar Gregory Siebrits who has been with Dieu Donne since 1998 crafts a collection of easy-drinking new world wines as well as Old World Vintages that stand up to other well-known wine regions, such as Bordeaux.
Visit our tasting facility adjacent to the restaurant or just enjoy a glass of wine on the upper terrace while soaking in the scenery.
Hennie du Toit, Dieu Donnè’s farm vineyard manager was born on the farm, once called Uitkyk farm, which was sold when he was 13 years old. Little did he know that he would return to his roots, mind the pun.

What a wonderful discovery!
The spectacular mountain scenery viewed from Dieu Donnè Vineyards endorses this translation.
